We miss so much driving in our cars. Since lock down I have been walking and cycling as my daily exercise. I am seeing so much for the first time.
If you can’t hug anyone else, hug a tree.
And I have three in pots at home –
For the first time I am really noticing the blossom on the horse chestnut trees – or is it that the blossom everywhere has been so beautiful to remind us that there is soemthing to look forward to after lock down.
The sight of this hedge made me stop to investigate –
This is not two different lots of ivy, the purple looking ivy is covered in dust. This is what it looked like before lock down. The new growth is still green.
This barn is up a farm track at the bottom on Enson Lane. It would make a great afternoon of drawing and painting for a summer.
I took a walk through Doxey Marshes late one evening and came across this little family. I stopped to watch and it made me smile.
Keep smiling everyone….
