You may have come across a few issues with moving from one page to another yesterday or with downloads which didn’t download but just appeared as a tab in your browser! We have been giving the site a padlock in the address bar to bring the site up to date and to remove the message some of you might be getting about the site not being secure?
It is an ongoing upgrade to https: which gives the site greater security. You may have to tell your browser to find https://suechatterton.co.uk to get to the secure version. We are working in the background to make sure that users get to the secure version without needing to worry. If you have bookmarked Sue’s site then just update it. I’ll leave a button at the end which takes you to the right place. https is more important when money transactions are involved. It is one of the things to look for if you think you’ve been given a dodgy link to a bank!
We have to thank a young man for the work behind the scenes called Sam. He has been responsible for some National retailer’s websites so he knows a thing or two! The transfer involved a lot of pages being updated and a few thousand links, so it is easy to miss the odd one or two. So if you find something goes wrong then use any feedback form to let us know. Better than emailing Sue direct because then we both get to see the problem. If I pick up the problem you will get a reply from email@example.com as long as you use a Feedback form and enter your contact email. But by all means contact Sue direct if you prefer. I’m pretty certain we have caught most of the issues and if you give Bob the B below a click he could take you to the https: home page of Sue’s site!
