A 6 week course aimed at improving your watercolour paintings and building your technique repertoire and confidence.
Aimed at beginners to intermediate painters the purpose of this course is to explore the use of watercolour and make the most of its fresh, vibrant nature through light, colour and contrast.
Whilst building on skills and techniques learnt in previous courses, new comers and beginners will be accommodated.
Sessions are tutor led with practical demonstrations and are held in a relaxed no pressure environment. Each student is encouraged to progress from their own level. With a limited number on the course, there is time for one on one help with the tutor.
A suggested list of equipment is available when booking. Please have the required equipment at the start of the course so that we do not waste a precious lesson on material procurement.
Saunders Waterford paper can be bought from Sue Chatterton at £11 for 10 sheets. Please contact Sue beforehand to order the paper.
Paper, Brushes and Paint are the tools of the trade, if you are in any doubt please give me a call or drop me an email.
A mapping/ ruling pen can also be ordered direct from Sue. This is used for masking fluid application and is sometimes difficult to find.
